(Assistant) Product Manager

As (Assistant) Product Manager you will fully support our Product Manager, the central expert between the market and the product. You support translating features, requirements and technologies into viable business models. Your interests should be both technical and commercial. Product Management is THE linking pin between all internal departments. Therefore you should be able to explain different points-of-view depending on the situation and person in order to persuade internal stakeholders.

This is what Product Management does

• Investigating functionalities in critical communications applications, dispatcher solutions; 

• Defining and creating enthusiasm around Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmap and new features;

• Collecting and translating customer demands and market trends into business requirements;

• Defining business requirements for new features and translating them into functional requirements;

• Working closely together with Software and Hardware Engineers;

• Presenting market trends and new features to the rest of the company;

• Defining path to market plans together with Sales;

• Addressing technical restrictions and consult on alternatives to Sales and Rohill customers;

• Initiating and defining a project plan based on Rohill strategic development or customer contract;

• Involvement in pre-sales activities and all types of projects.

This is who you are

• Affinity with the communication market

• >2 years relevant working experience • HBO working level

• Team player • Technological background

• Analytical and writing skills (in English)

• Organize, prioritize and manage processes

• Proven track record in ‘getting things done’ • Excellent presentation / communication skills

• Willing to travel on a regular basis

• Second language is a pro

• Agile and scrum experience are a pro
